Women of Virtue Org
A collective of women committed to helping other women, their families, and their communities.
Who we are as an organization
Committed to Building a Better Community One Need at a Time
Women of Virtue Organization (WOVORG) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 with a commitment to empowering women, strengthening families, and uplifting communities. Built on the belief that achievement begins with a helping hand, WOV is a collective of women dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others through compassion, education, advocacy, and community service.
We believe that every woman deserves the opportunity to live a healthy, fulfilling, and empowered life, regardless of her circumstances. We also recognize that when women receive the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive, their families and communities benefit.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower and support women and families by providing access to community resources, educational opportunities, mentorship, advocacy, and supportive services that promote personal growth, emotional well-being, self-sufficiency, and stability.
Through community outreach, partnerships, and service initiatives, we strive to address barriers that prevent individuals and families from achieving healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build stronger, healthier, and more connected communities where women and families have access to the resources, encouragement, and opportunities needed to overcome adversity and achieve lasting stability.
We envision a future where no woman feels alone in her struggles and where compassion, collaboration, and community involvement create pathways toward hope and positive change.
Our Commitment to Community
Since our founding, Women of Virtue Organization has demonstrated its commitment to community service through women's empowerment events, domestic violence awareness initiatives, outreach to individuals experiencing homelessness, and charitable activities supporting children and families.
Our work is guided by four core commitments:
-
Empowerment: Encouraging women to recognize their worth, develop confidence, and pursue personal and professional growth.
-
Education and Awareness: Providing information, workshops, and community conversations addressing issues that affect women, families, and underserved communities.
-
Support and Resources: Connecting individuals and families with services, assistance, and opportunities that promote stability and self-sufficiency.
-
Community Engagement: Building partnerships, encouraging volunteerism, and creating opportunities for people to come together in service to others.
As Women of Virtue continues to grow, we remain committed to our founding purpose while responding to the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
Women of Virtue Organization is more than a name. It represents women coming together with a shared purpose: helping other women, strengthening families, and building better communities—one need at a time.
